Motorists Injured in Rollover Crash on Highway 99 [Acampo, CA]

Two-Vehicle Collision Reported near Jahant Road

ACAMPO, CA (September 15, 2018) – Motorists were injured early Saturday morning in a rollover crash on Highway 99. According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place around 4:46 AM, just north of Jahant Road.

At least two vehicles were involved in the incident, including a Chevrolet Malibu that was found overturned and on its side in the center divider. It collided with a semi-trailer truck, although events leading up to the crash are unclear at this time.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and treated the injures motorists on site. The extent of their injuries is unknown, but no one was hospitalized following the crash.

Debris from the Chevy was scattered throughout the lanes of the highway, and the truck sustained heavy front-end damage. Crews performed clearing operations in the area as officials conducted a preliminary investigation.
