SACRAMENTO, CA (June 3, 2019) – Motorists were hurt in a multi-car crash on northbound 5 Freeway, early Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash on 5 Freeway happened just before 5:00 AM. In addition, it occurred just south of Airport Boulevard. Based on an initial report, three vehicles were involved in the incident. It started when a Dodge pickup truck was rear-ended by another pickup truck due to an unknown reason. A third car was also part of the commotion.
The paramedics arrived for needed medical attention. Fortunately, the injuries sustained by the involved motorists were not life-threatening.
After the rescue, clearing and cleaning operations took place in the area.
