Multiple Vehicles Involved in Collision near Highway 18
CRESTLINE, CA (February 21, 2019) – Motorists were hurt in a crash on Highway 189, Thursday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 2:31 PM, just north of Highway 18. Based on an initial report, a burgundy Dodge caused the major pile-up when it lost its traction and slid into an unspecified number of other vehicles.
The motorists in the Dodge had complaints of pain to the cheeks due to impact. The paramedics were called for needed medical attention.
A clearing operation was conducted in the area. An investigation is ongoing to verify all initial information and determine liabilities.
