Motorists Dies, Another Injured in Crash on Highway 137 [Tulare, CA]

Tulare, CA (October 16, 2021) On Friday morning, a driver dies while another suffered injuries in a 2-vehicle crash on Highway 137.

The California Highway Patrol(CHP) says that the crash happened just before 2 am, west of Tulare.

Moreover, the CHP says that a southbound Nissan Pathfinder broadsided an eastbound Chevy Silverado on Road 68.

Authorities say that the Nissan driver was not buckled up. He was ejected outside of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the Chevy driver suffered major injuries and was taken to Kaweah Health Center for immediate care.

The CHP is investigating the crash to know the probable cause of the crash. No word if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
