Injury Reported in Government Vehicle-Sedan Crash on Trifone Road
Hemet, CA (June 17, 2022) On Thursday, a motorist was seriously injured in a 2-vehicle collision on Sage Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash happened at around 4:20 p.m. at the intersection with Trifone Road.
Reports say that a California Department of Fish & Wildlife vehicle crashed with a sedan.
Moreover, the force of the collision caused the sedan to into a ditch and trapped its driver.
Riverside County Fire Department firefighters rescued the trapped motorist.
Paramedics said that the motorist suffered major injuries and that an ambulance transported the patient to a hospital.
Meanwhile, the law enforcement officer driving the state vehicle did not sustain injuries.
Authorities are still investigating the collision and the probable cause of the crash.
