Injuries Reported in Banning Auto Accident on Cajalco Road and Lake Mathews Drive
BANNING, CA (June 27, 2022) – Thursday morning, a motorist suffered injuries in a head-on crash on Cajalco Road and Lake Mathews Drive.
The incident happened at around 7:00 a.m. in the 13300 block of Cajalco Road, west of Lake Mathews Drive.
According to reports, a Honda sedan driver lost control while speeding on a curve. As a result, the sedan and the big rig crashed head-on on the two-lane corridor.
As a result, fuel and other fluids spilled onto the roadway. Meanwhile, officers confirmed that the trucker hauling load of bricks suffered no injuries.
Meanwhile, responders extricated the motorist and transported her to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley in serious but stable condition.
