Three Vehicles Involved in Collision near Shoreline Boulevard
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA (December 14, 2018) – A motorist was hurt in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 101, Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 7:29 AM, in the northbound lanes near the Shoreline Boulevard on-ramp. Based on their report, three other vehicles were involved in the incident, but one party left the scene afterwards. It was not yet clear in what manner the crash occurred.
An ambulance was requested for needed medical attention. The paramedics said that one person had complaints of pain. Fortunately, the injury sustained by the victim was not life-threatening.
The No. 6 lane was blocked while rescue and clearing operations were performed in the area. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident to help identify the possible contributing factors. The authorities are also working to identify and locate the hit-and-run motorist. Additional information has yet to be released.
