Injuries and Damage Sustained in Fiery Collision near Willow Pass Road
CONCORD, CA (December 29, 2018) – A motorist was hospitalized after a fiery multi-car crash on eastbound Highway 4, early Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 3:01 AM, just east of Willow Pass Road. Based on their report, five vehicles were involved in the incident. A report also stated that a red Chevrolet Cruze and three other cars caught fire in the incident.
The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. They confirmed that one motorist was transported to Kaiser Permanente Walnut Creek Medical Center after suffering chest pains. The victim’s condition was said to be non-life-threatening.
All vehicles acquired damages. Towing services were ordered by fire officials to clear the area and prevent any traffic hazards. No further details have been disclosed to the public, as the investigation continues.
