Two Vehicles Involved in Collision near Floresta Boulevard

SAN LEANDRO, CA (February 19, 2019) – A motorist was ejected in a car crash on southbound 880 Freeway, Tuesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 10:55 AM, just north of Floresta Boulevard. Based on their report, two vehicles were involved in the incident. The parties were identified as a green Honda Accord and a beige Ford Escape.
A male motorist was found lying in the No. 3 lane. The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. They had not yet released a report regarding the injuries sustained by the victim.
All lanes were temporarily closed while rescue teams attended to the victim. A clearing operation was performed in the area. An investigation is ongoing to identify the cause of the accident, the possible contributing factors and to determine liabilities. Additional information has yet to be released.
