1 Hospitalized after Fresno Car Accident

FRESNO, CA (February 19, 2019) – A motorcycle rider was ejected from his bike after crashing into a truck pulling a flatbed trailer on February 17.

Lt. Larry Bowlan with the Fresno Police Department revealed that the incident occurred about 4:00 p.m. on Jensen Avenue and Ivy Avenue.

Bowlan also said that three male motorcyclists were riding on Jensen Avenue when a truck was attempting to make a U-turn back onto Jensen Avenue.

One of the riders wasn’t able to see the truck in time and crashed into the trailer, Bowlan added. Multiple 911 calls were received while the man was lying in the roadway.

His friends helped him while EMS was on the way. The motorcyclist was taken to Community Regional Medical Center for road rash and other injuries.

Drugs and/or alcohol are ruled out as a factor in the collision.

Weaving in and out of lanes is dangerous. Always stay at your lane and be aware of the presence of other motorists around you. Pay attention and consider small vehicles like motorcycles and bicycles because these are more prone to road accidents than bigger vehicles.
