Rider Hospitalized after Collision with Semi-Truck near Highway 138
CAJON PASS, CA (February 22, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured early Friday evening following a semi-truck crash on 15 Freeway. The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed to the public.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened between Cleghorn Road and Highway 138, at about 5:30 PM. The motorcycle rider crashed after he was possibly clipped by a semi-truck.
The motorcyclist suffered major injuries and was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center for immediate medical treatment. Further updates on his current medical condition were not provided. Meanwhile, the semi-truck driver did not sustain injuries in the collision.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash and to identify possible contributing factors. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
