Motorcycle Rear-Ends Car on Highway 12 in American Canyon, Major Injuries Sustained
AMERICAN CANYON, CA (July 26, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Friday afternoon following a rear-end crash on Highway 12.
The crash happened around 3:11 p.m., on eastbound Highway 12 near Red Top Road.
CHP officials responded to the scene and found the rider with major injuries, including a broken right wrist. Paramedics took the patient to a hospital in an unknown condition.
According to an initial report, the rider struck the rear of a blue Nissan Altima on the right shoulder. The motorcycle was leaking gas after the crash.
It was not specified if the driver of the Nissan was injured.
No additional information was provided at this time. The incident is still on active investigation while the authorities are putting the pieces together.
