Motorcycle Stuck Underneath Truck on Tefft Street Bridge in Nipomo, Major Injuries Sustained
NIPOMO, CA (November 19, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured following a traffic accident Tuesday night in Nipomo, CHP officials said.
The crash happened around 6:45 p.m., on Tefft Street Bridge on the northbound Highway 101 on-ramp. Dispatchers arrived to the area shortly after.
Firefighters responded to the scene and found the motorcycle and rider pinned underneath a truck. They extricated the patient and transported them to a local hospital for further treatment of major injuries.
First responders say traffic in the area was congested and they are asking drivers to stay clear of the roadway as they clear the scene.
The condition and identity of the rider were not immediately available. However, further investigation is currently underway.
