Major Injuries Sustained in Motorcycle and Car Crash on Lake Chabot Road in Castro Valley

 
CASTRO VALLEY, CA (October 16, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured following a traffic collision with a car Wednesday evening in Castro Valley.
 
The collision happened around 7:40 p.m. in the 20000 block of Lake Chabot Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Suzuki motorcycle collided with a silver Honda Accord for unknown reasons. As a result, the rider suffered major injuries.
 
Paramedics arrived and transported the patient to a hospital for proper treatment.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the cause of the crash and more information will be provided when accessible.
