Motorcycle and Car Collide on Highway 101 in Gilroy Badly Injuring the Rider

 
GILROY, CA (October 15, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured following a traffic collision with a car Tuesday morning in Gilroy.
 
The crash happened around 5:26 a.m. on Highway 101 south of Masten Avenue.
 
CHP officials said a motorcycle was traveling northbound when it collided with a red Honda Accord. As a result, the rider suffered major injuries.
 
Paramedics rushed the patient to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
The motorcycle was towed away from the scene of the crash.
 
The CHP is still investigating the incident to determine the cause and liability.
