Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash on 215 Freeway at Washington Street [COLTON, CA]

Motorcycle and Car Collide on 215 Freeway in Colton, Major Injuries Sustained

 
COLTON, CA (October 18, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured following a traffic collision Friday morning in Colton.
 
The collision happened around 7:42 a.m. on southbound 215 Freeway, just north of Washington Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle traveled southbound at the time of the accident. After that, the motorcycle crashed into the back of a gray Honda Accord. As a result, the impact sent the rider down in lanes.
 
Paramedics arrived and transported the rider to a hospital with major injuries. However, the patient’s condition condition is not immediately known.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the cause of this crash. However, more information will be provided when accessible.
