1 Injured in Seattle Motorcycle Accident

SEATTLE, WA (March 20, 2019) – A motorcyclist suffered severe injuries in a crash with an SUV in Skyway on March 18.

After reports of a collision around 12:50 p.m, police and medics came to the area. The incident occurred in the 13000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way South.

When the authorities arrived, they located the motorcyclist with possible life-threatening injuries. Paramedics transported him to the hospital.

The preliminary investigation determined that the rider headed east on Martin Luther King Jr. Way. At the same time, the SUV pulled away from a parking lot onto the roadway. Furthermore, the rider attempted to avoid the collision. Unfortunately, he still crashed into the SUV’s side.

Due to the crash, authorities closed all lanes of the road at the area.
