Motorcyclist Robert Moore Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on Southern Avenue [Phoenix, AZ]

David Moreno Arrested after Two-Vehicle Crash on Southern Avenue in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (January 16, 2022) – Saturday afternoon, 40-year-old Robert Moore died in a two-vehicle crash on Southern Avenue and 18th Street.

The fatal crash in Phoenix happened at around 3 p.m. on January 15.

Phoenix Police said Robert Moore was struck and landed on the roof of David Moreno’s car. Moreno stopped briefly before starting back up again and hitting two more vehicles.

Moore died at the scene. No word about the other two involved vehicles.

Witnesses led officers to Moreno’s nearby location and arrested him for DUI.

Further investigation into this fatal collision is ongoing.
