Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Highway 1 Kills Klayton Kidd
Cambria, Ca (May 18, 2020) – A motorcyclist named Klayton Kidd died in a crash with a Jeep Cherokee on Friday, at about 3:23 pm.
The crash occurred in the southbound lanes of Highway 1 in Cambria south of Ardath Drive, said the California Highway Patrol.
Officers on the scene say the driver of the Jeep turned onto the shoulder making a turn, turning into the direction of 76-year-old Mr. Kidd, causing the two vehicles to collide.
Klayton Kidd, of Morro Bay, was rushed to the nearest hospital, but later pronounced dead.
The Investigation on the Crash Continues
Officers confirm neither drugs or alcohol are contributing factors to the accident.
