1 Pronounced Dead after Danville Motorcycle Collision near El Pintado Road
DANVILLE, CA (March 31, 2020) – Early Sunday night, an unidentified motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash on 680 Freeway.
California Highway Patrol responded to the collision on March 29 around 8:13 p.m. Dispatchers arrived on Highway 680, near El Pintado Road.
According to reports, a man was traveling in a red 2004 Honda CBR motorcycle when he crashed and fell off of his bike for unknown reasons.
A passing car then struck the motorcyclist while he was down on the road.
Due to the impact of the collision, authorities declared the motorcyclist dead at the scene. However, his identity remains unreleased as of this time.
Moreover, the vehicle driver stayed at the scene and has been cooperative with the investigation.
The surrounding area on 680 Freeway was closed off during cleanup and preliminary duties.
