Motorcyclist Dead after Camarillo Rollover Accident on Pleasant Valley Road

 
CAMARILLO, CA (August 22, 2019) – One person died in after a rollover accident on Pleasant Valley Road in Camarillo on Wednesday, August 21.
 
The collision occurred shortly before 8:00 a.m. on Pleasant Valley Road just south of Las Posas Road.
 
The accident involved a semi-truck, motorcycle, and sedan. One person was rushed to the hospital with moderate injuries. The motorcyclist succumbed to injuries sustained at the scene.
 
The semi-truck carried cardboard boxes. It rolled over and caught fire after the crash. The driver walked away with minor injuries.
 
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. The identity of the deceased was not yet released at the time of the incident.
