37-Year-Old Biker Dies in Artesia Freeway Crash in Cerritos
Cerritos, CA (May 30, 2021) – Early Sunday morning, a 37-year-old biker from Long Beach died in a crash on the Artesia (91) Freeway.
The Cerritos fatal crash happened at about 2:35 a.m on May 30, on the westbound freeway, west of Shoemaker Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol responded and found the motorcyclist down in the carpool lane. The motorcyclist may have been rear-ended by a party bus.
Reportedly, he was riding a 2008 Yamaha, headed westbound when the bike veered to the right and in front of the vehicle.
The CHP’s Santa Fe Springs office urged anyone with any information regarding the crash to call them at 562-868-0503.
