Fatal Motorcycle Crash on 210 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (July 4, 2019) – A motorcyclist died following a crash on 210 Freeway late Thursday evening.
The crash happened around 10:13 p.m. along the westbound lanes of 210 Freeway, just west of Day Creek Boulevard.
According to the CHP, a silver Dodge Avenger and a motorcycle collided in the HOV lane. Officers arrived and found the rider lying on the ground.
Paramedics attempted life-saving aid, but police pronounced the rider dead at the scene. The name, age and town of residence of the victim were not immediately available.
Police did not provide information on if the car’s driver remained or fled after the crash. It is also unknown whether any charges were filed and liability has not yet been determined.
Police did not release any other information regarding the details of the crash on 210 Freeway. However, an investigation is underway.
