Motorcyclist Killed in Crash at Highland Valley Road and Sky Valley Drive [RAMONA, CA]

Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Highland Valley Road in Ramona

 
RAMONA, CA (September 8, 2019) – A motorcyclist died in a traffic collision Sunday morning in Ramona, according to the CHP.
 
The collision happened around 10:38 a.m. on Highland Valley Road, just west of Sky Valley Drive.
 
The driver of a green Acura Integra, who reported the collision, told CHP officers he wasn’t sure whether the motorcyclist crossed into his lane or not before the two vehicles collided.
 
Fire personnel performed CPR on the the rider, who died about an hour later.
 
The San Diego County coroner’s officials did not release the identity of the victim pending family notification.
 
Officers closed both directions of the road for the on-scene investigation.
