Head-On Collision on Highway 41 Kills Motorcycle Rider in Fresno
FRESNO, CA (August 14, 2019) – A head-on collision on Highway 41 in Fresno County claimed a motorcyclist’s life Sunday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash occurred near Harlan Avenue just after 2:30 pm. A Range Rover was southbound on the two-lane highway passing cars when it crashed head-on with the northbound motorcyclist.
The motorcycle rider died in the collision. The authorities said he was a man in his fifties. However, they did not release the name of the victim.
On the other hand, the driver of the Range Rover complained of pain and was taken to the hospital.
The crash is under investigation. The officers do not believe that alcohol or drugs were a factor.
