Police Investigate a Fatal Crash on Mission Bay Park in San Diego
San Diego, CA (June 26, 2021) – Early Saturday morning, a 33-year-old man died after a traffic crash on Mission Bay Park.
The fatal motorcycle crash in San Diego happened at around 1:15 a.m. on June 26.
San Diego Police Department said the motorcyclist was riding a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja southbound in the 2500 block of East Mission Bay Drive when he lost control of the motorcycle and fell, crossing over into the northbound lanes, where he was struck by a northbound 2016 Toyota Camry.
Officers declared the motorcyclist dead at the crash scene. It is not known whether the driver in the Toyota or its occupants sustained injuries at this time.
