Man Dead in Clovis Motorcycle Accident on Shaw Avenue and Cedar Avenue

 
CLOVIS, CA (October 18, 2021) – Sunday morning, a motorcyclist died in a crash on Shaw Avenue and Cedar Avenue.
 
The incident happened at around 5:30 a.m. on Shaw Avenue and Cedar Avenue.
 
According to some witnesses, a speeding motorcyclist traveled west on Shaw Avenue. Then, he failed to yield at a red light on Cedar Avenue. Eventually, the rider crashed into the back of a trailer being pulled by a northbound on Cedar turning west onto Shaw.
 
The impact ejected the man from his motorcycle. As a result, he succumbed to injuries at the scene.
 
At this time, the authorities confirmed that the motorcyclist came from Clovis.
 
Meanwhile, the van driver stayed at the scene and has been cooperative with the investigation.
 
Also, the authorities haven’t determined whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
 
The Fresno Police Department’s Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) handles the crash investigation.
