1 Dead in Hesperia Motorcycle Accident on Phelan Road and Baldy Mesa Road
HESPERIA, CA (June 26, 2022) – Friday night, a motorcyclist died in a crash on Phelan Road and Baldy Mesa Road.
The incident occurred at around 6:08 p.m. on Phelan Road, east of Baldy Mesa Road. According to reports, the crash involved a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a brown 2014 Kia Optima.
Some witnesses revealed that a man and woman rode two separate motorcycles when the accident happened. Then, bystanders performed chest compressions on the male rider. Meanwhile, the wife kept screaming ‘let me have my husband’.
When the firefighters arrived, they declared the male rider dead at the scene. At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed his identity.
Meanwhile, they shut down both directions of Phelan Road between Baldy Mesa and Barada Road for several hours. Furthermore, the California Highway Patrol handles the crash investigation.
