1 Dead in Salinas Motorcycle Accident on John Street near Highway 101
SALINAS, CA (July 8, 2021) – Wednesday morning, a motorcyclist died in a crash on John Street near Highway 101 in Salinas.
According to the Salinas Police Department, a 28-year-old motorcyclist traveled at 2:18 p.m. on John Street. Then, it drove across oncoming traffic near Highway 101.
Afterward, the rider crashed head-on with an SUV and sustained fatal injuries. The authorities declared the rider dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the SUV driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.
