1 Dead in Elk Grove Motorcycle Accident on Hood Franklin Road near Interstate 5
ELK GROVE, CA (June 14, 2022) – Sunday, a crash on Hood Franklin Road near Interstate 5 led to the death of a motorcyclist.
The incident occurred at around 12:48 p.m. on Hood Franklin Road, west of Interstate 5.
According to reports, a Kia Sorento driver headed west on Hood Franklin Road. Then, the driver made a U-turn in an attempt to enter southbound Interstate 5.
However, a motorcyclist on a Harley Davidson traveled westbound behind the Kia on Hood Franklin Road. Then, the rider went across the eastbound lanes to pass the Kia but crashed into the vehicle’s left side.
On June 13, the motorcyclist succumbed to injuries at Kaiser South Hospital. Meanwhile, the driver of the Kia suffered no injuries in the crash.
