1 Dead in Tacoma Motorcycle Accident on 56th Street and J Street

 
TACOMA, WA (August 23, 2021) – Recently, a 40-year-old motorcyclist died in a crash on 56th Street and J Street.
 
The crash between a motorcyclist and a vehicle happened when the rider headed east on S 56th Street. Then, a westbound vehicle on S 56th Street veered left onto S J Street. As a result, the vehicle crashed into the motorcyclist.
 
The police confirmed that the 40-year-old motorcyclist succumbed to injuries at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the incident led to the closure of S 56th Street between S J Street and S Yakima Avenue for several hours.
 
The detectives with the Collision Investigation Team handle the investigation.
