1 Dead in Kent Motorcycle Accident
KENT, WA (July 2, 2019) – A motorcyclist died after crashing into a patrol vehicle in a crash on 256th Street on June 28.
At about 9:00 p.m., a Kent Police officer on patrol in the 13700 block of SE 256th Street attempted to initiate a traffic stop. As the officer attempted to make that stop, a 20-year-old motorcyclist collided with the driver’s side of the patrol vehicle.
The officer helped the rider and called for assistance. Unfortunately, the rider died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the officer didn’t suffer any injury. Due to standard procedure, the officer is on administrative leave.
The identity of the persons involved remains unavailable as of this time.
