Man Dead in Lakeside Motorcycle Accident
LAKESIDE, CA (June 6, 2019) – A motorcyclist died in a collision with a car on Olde Highway 80 on June 1 in Lakeside.
According to reports, at about 5:30 p.m., the 27-year-old rider traveling west of Bond Avenue got hit by a 19-year-old woman in a Hyundai Accent while making a U-turn.
The hit the car and the force threw him off his motorcycle. He then crashed into the windshield. Medical responders transported him to the hospital where he succumbed to death.
His identity remains unreleased, but he’s a Santee resident.
Meanwhile, the Hyundai driver from Jamul stayed at the scene and helped with the investigation.
Authorities ruled out drugs and alcohol as factors in the collision.
