Motorcyclist Killed in Wood Chipper Collision on Centerville Road [CHICO, CA]

Rider Dies in Morning Collision with Wood Chipper in Chico

 
CHICO, CA (June 3, 2019) – An unidentified motorcyclist was killed Monday morning following a wood chipper collision on Centerville Road.
 
The crash happened around 10:54 a.m., on Centerville Road. Dispatchers arrived just between China Camp Road and McClure Lane shortly after.
 
Emergency crews attempted life-saving measures, but they were unsuccessful. The rider was later pronounced dead on scene by a coroner’s personnel.
 
Details surrounding the crash were not made clear in the reports and media releases. CHP is currently tracking down other witnesses and 911 callers to get their accounts of the deadly incident.
