Pickup Truck and Motorcycle Collision Near Southwest 43rd Street
RENTON, WA (October 11, 2019) – A motorcyclist died in an accident on Highway 167 southbound on Friday afternoon.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened near Southwest 43rd Street at approximately 3:00 PM.
Based on a report, the victim changed lanes right in front of the truck. After that, the truck stuck the motorcycle. It then hit another vehicle before landing in the lanes.
WSP officials said that the rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity was not yet known as of report time.
All southbound lanes of State Route 167 were temporarily blocked due to the commotion.
No further information has been released to the public as the investigation continues.
