Motorcyclist Killed in Accident on 5 Freeway [Carlsbad, CA]

Rider Stuck Under Truck in Fatal Carlsbad Motorcycle Crash Near Las Flores Drive

 
CARLSBAD, CA (September 11, 2019) – A motorcyclist died in a crash on 5 Freeway southbound on Wednesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Las Flores Drive at approximately 6:47 AM. Based on a report, the motorcycle went across into the first lane and collided with a white pickup truck.
 
The police located the rider stuck under the truck. An attending coroner declared the victim dead at the scene. However, no other information was released regarding the rider’s identity.
 
The fast lane closed while rescue and clearing operations performed in the area.
