San Diego Pedestrian Crash on Friars Road Injures Motorcycle Rider
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 12, 2019) — A 56-year-old motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a pedestrian crash on Friars Road early Saturday.
The collision happened at 10000 Friars Road in the Grantville neighborhood at around 12:15 a.m.
The police said the man was riding a motorcycle eastbound when a person walked in front of him, triggering a collision. After that, the motorcyclist drove over a curb and crashed into a streetlight pole.
Emergency crews took the motorcyclist to the hospital with serious injuries. On the other hand, the pedestrian fled the scene.
