20-Year-Old Motorcyclist Injured in Interstate 10 Collision [San Antonio, TX]

San Antonio, TX (September 29, 2023) – A 20-year-old motorcyclist sustained injuries following an Interstate 10 collision Wednesday night.

The traffic accident unfolded around 11 p.m. in the 15200 block area, not far from the University of Texas at San Antonio and Loop 1604.

Investigators said the motorcyclist was rear-ended by a BMW, throwing the male rider.

Immediately, the rescuers rushed the rider by ambulance to University Hospital with possible life-threatening injuries. The accident report stated that he was in critical but stable condition.

Moreover, officers said the BMW male driver was assessed by the authorities for a possible DWI. Later on, they arrested and booked the driver for intoxication assault.

Officers are still investigating.
