Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 101 Injured One Motorcycle Rider
Ukiah, CA (October 1, 2020) – On Wednesday, a motorcyclist was injured in a hit-and-run crash on 2601 North State Street.
The tragic accident took place at around 7:20 p.m. near Highway 101 and Cal Fire Ukiah Fire Station.
Officers responded to the scene and confirmed that a car struck the motorcyclist for an unknown reason.
Moreover, paramedics responded to the scene. Immediately, they treated the victim for unspecified injuries.
The authorities withheld the victim’s name and condition.
Further, officers found the motorcycle down on the ground following the crash.
Meanwhile, CHP said the suspect driver did not stop to render aid and fled northbound. additionally, the report described the suspect vehicle as a dark-colored 4-door pickup truck.
Furthermore, the car sustained rear passenger side damage following the collision. Authorities are still looking for the hit-and-run motorist.
