Five Vehicles Involved in Collision near Moraga Drive
LOS ANGELES, CA (April 2, 2019) – Injuries were sustained in a hit-and-run accident on southbound 405 Freeway, Tuesday morning.
According to reports, the collision took place at approximately 11:22 AM. Dispatchers arrived just north of Moraga Drive shortly after.
Five vehicles were allegedly involved in the pile-up. A silver 4D vehicle chased and cut a motorcycle, consequently causing the collision. The vehicle then fled the scene following the incident.
The paramedics immediately called to the scene because of needed medical attention. Due to the impact of the collision, one rider complained of chest pain. The exact injuries sustained were not specified.
Furthermore, the No. 2 and 3 lanes were closed while rescue, clearing, and cleaning operations took place in the area. Surrounding roadways eventually reopened.
A search is still currently ongoing to look for the hit-and-run driver. Anyone with information is asked to contact the authorities as soon as possible. Additional information will be released following the conclusion of the investigation.
