Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Hit-And-Run Crash on Highway 20 in Yuba

Yuba, CA (November 20, 2021) – Wednesday evening, a motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 20 and Gray Avenue.

The hit-and-run crash in Yuba happened at about 5:55 p.m. on November 10.

The CHP said the driver of a white sedan tried to make an abrupt turn into the AM/PM store at Highway 20 and Gray Avenue in Yuba City, turning right in front of a motorcycle in the next lane.

The motorcyclist then pushed out of his lane and attempted to slow down but hit the sedan’s right side.

As a result, the rider hit by a minivan and slid into a tree, and became trapped between the motorcycle and the tree.

However, the sedan did not stop and fled the scene.

EMS took the rider to a hospital with significant injuries.

Police are now looking for the sedan driver.

Anyone with information about the crash, call the Yuba Sutter CHP.
