23-Year-Old Motorcyclist Injured in Highway 1 Hit-and-Run Crash [Ventura, CA]

Ventura, CA (May 7, 2024) – A 23-year-old motorcyclist from Oakview was injured following a Highway 1 hit-and-run crash Monday afternoon.

Responding crews arrived at 4:33 p.m. to the traffic accident near Emma Wood State Beach.

Officers said a sedan crashed into the motorcycle and fled the scene.

Immediately, the medical team airlifted the motorcyclist to Ventura County Medical Center in critical condition. The rider incurred fractures to his right arm and legs as well as a brain hemorrhage.

Troopers are investigating this collision and asked those who may have seen the sedan to contact the Ventura area CHP at 805-662-2640.
