1 Hospitalized in San Diego Motorcycle Accident on State Route 76 near Sams Mountain Road

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (March 8, 2021) – Sunday noon, a motorcyclist sustained injuries in a crash on State Route 76 near Sams Mountain Road.
 
According to Juan Escobar of the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened just after 1:00 p.m. Moreover, it occurred at 16650 State Route 76, just west of Sams Mountain Road.
 
Reports revealed that an eastbound Harley-Davidson suddenly veered left to avoid a westbound truck. Then, it lost control and clipped another vehicle before colliding with a power pole.
 
Furthermore, responders rushed the motorcyclist to Palomar Hospital via helicopter, Cal Fire said.
 
Authorities released no further details regarding the crash.
 
The incident is under CHPs investigation.
