SANTA ROSA, CA (August 4, 2021) – Tuesday morning, a motorcyclist suffered injuries in a crash on Santa Rosa Avenue and Elsa Drive.
 
The incident happened at about 11:50 a.m. on Santa Rosa Avenue and Elsa Drive.
 
According to reports, the rider sustained significant injuries after crashing with the SUV. Also, the crash led to authorities reducing Santa Rosa Avenue to one lane in either direction at Elsa.
 
The witness statements said that the white SUV attempted to turn left from the southbound center turn lane onto eastbound Elsa.
 
As the rider traveled south on Santa Rosa Avenue, the motorcycle crashed with the back passenger side of the white SUV. Reports confirmed that the vehicle was making its turn when the crash happened.
 
Then, the impact ejected the motorcyclist to the ground.
 
The Santa Rosa Police Accident unit handles the crash investigation.
 
Meanwhile, the SUV driver remained at the scene and has been cooperative. The driver sustained no injuries and didn’t show signs of impairment.
