Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Rancho Bernardo Crash in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (April 8, 2019) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized Friday morning after he was involved in a crash on Rancho Bernardo Drive.
Authorities received dispatch calls about the accident around 8:15 a.m. First responders arrived near the intersection of Rancho Bernardo Drive and Matinal Road soon after.
Because details are scarce at this time, police are currently looking into whether it was a solo-vehicle accident, or if another vehicle was involved. The name and age of the injured victim has not yet been disclosed.
Reports indicate that the rider was allegedly suffering from a serious leg injury due to the impact of the collision. The motorcyclist was eventually taken to Palomar Medical Center in Poway, for further treatment. According to medics, his wounds are not believed to be life-threatening.
