SUV Strikes and Seriously Injures a Motorcyclist Following Crash on Osborne Street and Marine View Avenue

 
San Diego, CA (July 3, 2021) – An SUV struck and left a motorcyclist hospitalized after crash on Osborne Street and Marine View Avenue on Friday afternoon.
 
The crash took place on July 2 at about 12:15 p.m. on Osborne Street and Marine View Avenue. Officer Tony Martinez of San Diego police said the crash occurred near the exit and entrance ramps to north Interstate 5.
 
The victim, a 32-year-old male was driving a Kawasaki motorcycle north on Osborne. Then, a Nissan Cube driver suddenly pulled in front of him causing the collision.
 
The impact of the collision left the man with a broken left femur. Based on the footage from OnScene TV, the motorcycle rider was pinned under the SUV for a time until Navy sailors nearby rescued him.

Medics took him to the hospital however, there has been no update regarding his condition. Furthermore, Police Department officers are investigating the incident.
