VISTA, CA (September 29, 2020) – Sunday afternoon, a motorcyclist suffered injuries in a crash on North Melrose Drive in Vista.
 
According to reports, a van exited a 76 gas station in the 400 block of North Melrose Drive. However, it hit the westbound motorcycle, which also struck another vehicle, just after 5:00 p.m.
 
“The U-Haul driver immediately fled the scene northbound,” revealed Sgt. A. Moses of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Vista Station. “Thankfully, the motorcyclist sustained only minor injuries because he was wearing motorcycle protective gear.”
 
Some witnesses stayed at the scene and described the crash to the investigators.
