Injuries Reported in Hesperia Motorcycle Accident on Main Street and Maple Avenue
HESPERIA, CA (September 21, 2022) – Tuesday morning, a motorcyclist suffered injuries in a crash on Main Street and Maple Avenue.
The incident occurred just before 9:00 a.m. in the 14400 block of Main Street, west of Maple Avenue.
When the authorities arrived, they found the 2011 Yamaha motorcycle and rider down on the road. Meanwhile, a white 2016 Mitsubishi Lancer sustained significant damage to the passenger side. It stopped at the entrance of the Stater Brothers shopping center.
When the firefighters arrived, they requested a helicopter to airlift the rider to an out-of-area trauma center. Moreover, the female driver of the vehicle suffered no injuries and remained at the scene.

Reports said that the Mitsubishi driver tried to make a left-hand turn into the business parking lot. Then, it turned directly into the path of the motorcycle, causing the collision.
At this time, the authorities do not believe that alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
