1 Hurt in Bakersfield Motorcycle Accident on Highway 99 and 7th Standard Road
BAKERSFIELD, CA (November 9, 2021) – Monday, a motorcyclist suffered injuries in a crash on Highway 99 and 7th Standard Road.
According to reports, the crash happened on the southbound side of Highway 99 south of 7th Standard Road near Highway 65.
As a result, the incident led to the closure of lane 1 of Highway 99.
Also, a part fell off the truck and struck a motorcyclist. Then, the motorcyclist was thrown off and fell on the ground, and landed on the right-hand side of the road.
Meanwhile, the truck driver suffered no injuries.
Reports confirmed that two off-duty Los Angeles Sheriff’s Office deputies aided on scene. Delano Police Department Chief Tyson Davis also helped.
