Motorcycle Involved in Solo Collision near 280 Freeway
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (December 17, 2018) – A motorcycle rider was down in crash on southbound Highway 101, Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 4:33 AM, just south of 280 Freeway. Based on their report, the victim was involved in a solo-vehicle incident.
The rider was found conscious and standing next to the bike. The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They had not yet released a report regarding any injury sustained by rider.
The No. 1 lane was temporarily closed while rescue and clearing operations were conducted in the area. Police are still investigating the cause of the crash and have not confirmed any details. It is not known if drugs and alcohol are contributing factors in the collision, and no further details have been disclosed to the public at this time.
